ANNUAL DISPLAY

DISPLAY
Our display this year will be held on Saturday 29 June 2024 (note the change of date). Entry forms are attached, please let us know if you can take part as soon as possible so that choreography can be tailored and training can get underway. Any money raised during this event will be spent on new equipment for the club.

WHAT TO WEAR
All gymnasts who are taking part should arrive by 9:00am for a dress rehearsal. They should wear their black club leotard and have hair secured firmly in a short pony tail / bunches or a bun for longer hair. No loose strands and long fringes please. Black scrunchies should be worn around the bun. Check with your coach if you are unsure about your child’s hair or what clips to use in a bun. Boys should wear black club leotards and shorts.

FOOD & DRINK
It is a long morning, and we understand that gymnasts use a lot of energy which needs to be replaced; please therefore ensure your child brings a drink of water or fruit juice and a small healthy snack/lunch to eat during the short break between the rehearsal and the performance.

TIMES & TICKETS
We plan for the display to start promptly at 11:30am and run until 1pm. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and should arrive from 11:15pm. Adults will cost £2 each payable in advance or £2.50 on the door. All children (under 16) are 50p.

STALLS
At the end of the display, we will be having a variety of stalls for gymnasts and their parents to browse after the display has finished. These include new and second hand leotards, our tuck shop with sweets at pocket money prices, raffle, as well as homemade cakes & biscuits.

To boost our fundraising efforts we are asking for donations for our raffle. After half term we will be grateful to receive your donations, such as; bottles of wine or spirits, bubble bath and other toiletries, chocolates and tins of biscuits, and jars of jam and chutney.

We would be delighted if you could support the club by providing us with some of your delicious cakes and cookies to serve and sell on the day. We will be encouraging the gymnasts to help on the stalls with an adult and of course we would be thrilled if you or any of your friends and family would like to help or just join us at the display. Please use the reply slip below to let us know if you can help by running a stall, clearing away, or just by making cakes.

Kind regards
